Long serving hospital volunteer Dolores ready to help.

The volunteer presence at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) is an extremely important element in making sure patients and families have a positive hospital stay or visit.

Volunteers add the most important of all ingredients to the hospital – love, concern of people and the ability to create an atmosphere of friendliness and goodwill.

Our dedicated volunteers contribute to the well-being of children and young people, seven days a week. They commit their expertise and time to the running of the hospital in both ‘behind-the-scenes’ jobs and in support roles for parents and families.

Our volunteers help PCH to achieve the Child and Adolescent Health Service mission which states that we, ‘Place children, young people, families and carers at the centre of everything we do.’

Our volunteers are easy to spot in their tangerine tops and are happy to help at any time.
