  1. Ring (08) 9340 8222 - Main switchboard at Princess Margaret Hospital
  2. Ask for the pager number that you need
  3. Wait for the staff member to receive the message (this can take a few minutes)
  4. The staff member will then be able to make contact with you
  5. Occasionally a staff member is unable to answer their page
  6. If there is no answer, please repeat steps 1 - 5 at a later time

Location

The main Outpatient area is situated on the 4th floor of the Charles Moore Building, to the left of the main entrance to the hospital. It is close to the cafeteria on level 4, where you can purchase drinks, hot foods and sandwiches.

The Orthopaedic Outpatient area is situated on the 5th floor of the Charles Moore Building, in close proximity to Radiology and the Orthopaedic Ward.

The Developmental Paediatrics Outpatient area is situated on the 5th floor of the Hay Street Building. This area can be accessed from the main entrance of Princess Margaret Hospital or from Hay Street, Subiaco.

Opening Hours

  • Outpatients is open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
  • It is closed for lunch between 12.30 pm and 1.00 pm and on public holidays.

What to Bring

Please bring:

  • your child's Medicare card
  • changes to your contact details
  • your child's health record book
  • previous xrays or tests

Referrals

  • All new clinic patients require a referral from either their general practitioner or specialist consultant.
  • We can accept electronic referrals. Please fill in this Electronic Referral Form and email it to pmhreferrals@health.wa.gov.au.
  • Waiting times for clinics vary within the specialty and information regarding this can be obtained by contacting the relevant desk.
