About us

Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) is Western Australia’s specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, providing medical care to children and adolescents 15 years of age or under.

We provide treatment for the most serious medical cases, as well as secondary services including inpatient, outpatient and day-stay care.

Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC) campus in Nedlands, PCH has:

The hospital was purpose built, incorporating the latest evidence-based design principles, enabling us to provide and deliver the best possible care and services to the Western Australian community.

PCH forms part of the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) which also includes Neonatology, Community Health and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (CAMHS). CAHS treats children from around Western Australia and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health and wellbeing in children and young people.

We are also a centre of excellence for teaching and research, partnering in major paediatric research and education initiatives with Telethon Kids Institute and the State's universities.

Designed to reflect the natural healing beauty of the neighbouring Kings Park and Botanic Garden, PCH places children, young people, families and carers at the centre of everything we do.
